Jennie was born and raised in the Snoqualmie Valley. She started playing soccer at a young age and realized the benefits of massage for players. This was what first prompted her to seek a career in massage therapy. She graduated from the Lake Washington Institute of Technology’s Massage Therapy program with an AAS in Massage Therapy.
Jennie specializes in pregnancy massage and is an Infant Massage Instructor. She enjoys working with babies and mothers pre and post delivery. Her experience in this area has helped her have a strong understanding of the pressures put on a woman’s body during pregnancy and childbirth and enjoys supporting mothers to be through their pregnancy. Jennie is also trained as a Doula and collaborates with midwives and physicians to help support mothers during childbirth.
Along with pregnancy massage Jennie is trained in Massage Cupping which helps her focus on more deep tissue areas and the art of Reiki*. The collaboration of these skills make her massages relaxing and effective leaving your body more balanced and rejuvenated.
*Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of touch, to activate the natural healing processes of the patient’s body and restore physical and emotional well-being.
